Building the new Cultural Centre was an opportunity of breathing new life into the old railway station. An accurate renovation was carried out on the existing building. The external canopy, which had been destroyed for many years, was rebuilt using contemporary language through the use of the original building’s characteristics: pitched line elements with trusses. The use of wood contrasts with the transparency of glass, allowing the rooms to open up to the landscape.
